oneboro 160
We're looking for any feedback around these ad changes, as outlined in this thread (http://oneboro.co.uk/forum/announcements.php?aid=2) we're tweaking the ad network but want to get your views. If you could please let me know any comments (feel free to reply, PM or email me) and we can look into your concerns. Please specify any advert locations, mobile on desktop, ad content etc... Thanks

Which ads in particular? From my point of view, the "pop up" ones that take seconds of my life getting rid of ;) I hope we dont escalate to pointless advert videos that you cant stop :(
typicalbrough 17
The two main ones I have problems with are the rolling one that sometimes appears at the bottom of the page, currently advertising very. It blocks half the screen. The other one is minor but some of the banners at the top are to wide and shrink the forum. I'm on an android tablet and use the mobile view with chromecast
oneboro 160
Thanks typicalbrough & Smoggo. We won't be having any auto play video adverts which you can't stop :) As for the ones taking up half the screen on Android, leave it with me so we can tweak this for mobile. jamesp 125
Why doesnt everyone use adblocker?
Will 2,958
Why doesnt everyone use adblocker? Because I know that websites like this one are quite reliant on ad revenue.

BoroG 7
There's been a Microsoft cloud ad at the bottom of the mobile site which was impossible to get rid of, pressing the x just went to the advert link (might just have been a very small button, either way very annoying). Guest Changing Times
There's been a Microsoft cloud ad at the bottom of the mobile site which was impossible to get rid of, pressing the x just went to the advert link (might just have been a very small button, either way very annoying). Yes I had this on the ipad. I don't mind adverts as I know they can generate revenue but adverts that make it impossible to use the site properly don't make much sense. Batmalan 50
Had an advert that wouldn't let me get rid of it unless I clicked to visit the site. Edit: forgot to mention I'm on mobile and it blocked half the page.
