Here's the drill: DON'T LOSE

Boro host Brighton Hove Albion at the Riverside and should they avoid defeat it will see them promoted back to the Premier League.

It's this years play off final equivalent, although this time around, Boro can afford to draw - but fans will be hoping to avoid that scenario.

Everyone connected with Middlesbrough Football club is on edge and tension is running high.

A packed to capacity Riverside stadium will only inspire that extra 10% from Karanka's side.

"Last season we played the final at Wembley and this season we have the final at The Riverside." Says Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka - he knows just exactly what this match means.

Boro go into this game on the back of three consecutive draws but are now unbeaten in their last 10 games.

Here's the drill: DON'T LOSE!

Easy. Yep. Easy.

And Karanka's side certainly know how to make sure of that.

Boro have only lost two of their 22 home league games so far this season - keep that up, and we're up.

Last time out saw Middlesbrough somewhat make Brighton look like relegation material. A comprehensive 3-0 victory over The Seagulls at the Amex looked to end their season, but Hughton's side have recovered well and are in with a great chance of promotion themselves.

It must be said that Brighton did not then have star-man Knockheart in their ranks, and he could cause Boro a lot of problems.

A huge bonus for the Teessiders is the suspension of Brighton centre back Dunk - he also missed the reverse fixture and was a huge loss.

Gordon Greer will come into replace Dunk. The 35-year-old has not recorded 90 minutes since that defeat to Boro back in December.

Last time out Brighton salvaged a point at home to Derby in the dying moments, it did not mean much, but Hughton claimed it helps keep up Momentum.

Pressure is also on Boro says the former Newcastle United Manager.

George Friend could return after training but Karanka did not give much away, he also claimed he already know his team for the weekend.

A display including 30,000 flags will welcome the players onto the pitch for potentially the biggest game in their career.

Boro fans raised over £900 and a banner in tribute to Ali Brownlee will fly over the Riverisde during the game. It will read: 'Everyone round my house for a parmo' let's hope the celebrations are similar to those on that occasion.
