Adam Forshaw set for an England call up?
According to reports, the Boro midfielder is on Gareth Southgate's radar.
Adam Forshaw has played a key role for Boro in the Premier League so far this season, and The Telegraph claim that he is in Gareth Southgate's mind ahead of fixtures against Scotland and Spain.
Southgate was at the Riverside Stadium on Saturday for Boro's victory over Bournemouth, in which he was reported to be keeping an eye on Ben Gibson and Jack Wilshere.
The Telegraph claim that "Wilshere and Drinkwater have returned to fitness, while Barkley pressed his claim for a recall by scoring against West Ham United, which could mean Forshaw has to wait for his chance."
"But the impressive former Everton youngster is clearly in the thoughts of Southgate and could receive a call-up if there are injuries this weekend or if the likes of Wilshere and Barkley fail to perform."

George Friend commented on how Forshaw's team mates are not surprised by how well he has settled into Premier League life. "It’s not like, ‘oh he’s suddenly a good player.’ We have always known he was a really good player ever since he arrived here and he’s such a good character as well. He’s so good for the team," said Friend.
