Injury concern ahead of Chelsea clash
Middlesbrough's George Friend is being assessed ahead of the visit of Chelsea on Sunday.
Boro have confirmed that full-back George Friend picked up a knock during training this week and may be a doubt for the upcoming fixture.
Fabio da Silva has returned from a knee injury which he picked up against Fulham in the EFL Cup and could replace Friend.
Likewise, Antonio Barragan could fill in at left-back as he did against West Brom, when Friend was ruled out with a calf strain.
Meanwhile, Premier League top scorer Diego Costa has been declared fit to face Boro. Having picked up a groin injury whilst on International duty, the Spanish international underwent treatment in London.
