Boro Make Bid For Justin Hoyte
As oneBoro.co.uk brought you the news that Boro were moving for Justin Hoyte, Middlesbrough have confirmed they have made a bid for the Arsenal star.
Gareth Southgate assured fans that he will act quickly to replace Luke Young, and it seems certain that Justin Hoyte will join Boro.
The bid is reported to be around £3.5 million for the 23 year old.
"We have submitted a bid and that's with Arsenal," Gibson told Sky Sports News. "We are waiting for Arsenal to respond.
"We have a fantastic relationship with Arsenal. They are good people there and we would never fall out with them.
"But we have given it our best offer and we hope that it happens. If it doesn't we move on."
If the deal goes through it will be Middlesbrough FC's 3rd signing of the summer.

Didier Digard signed for a fee of £4 million from Paris St Germain and Marvin Emnes signed for £3.2 million from Sparta Rotterdam. Both have scored during the pre season and will be looking for a successful first season in the Premier League.
