Boro Wait On Manchester United Duo
Middlesbrough FC may have to wait on targets Gary Neville and Paul Scholes.
Boro have already held preliminary talks with Manchester United FC and made their interest known about Neville and Scholes.
The Gazette states that it's the wrong time to try to make any real progress with United’s season having only recently finished following the Champions League Final, and Sir Alex Ferguson also being pre-occupied with Real Madrid’s £80m offer for Ronaldo.
United are aware that Boro will maintain a keen interest in the pair.

It seems likely that the pair would take up a player/coach role at Boro, something that they would both be interested in.
