It is being reported that the player has gone back to his parent club to receive treatment on an injury which he sustained while training for Boro this week.
On-loan Middlesbrough player Rajiv van La Parra has returned to parent club Huddersfield town, raising questions about his future at the Riverside Stadium.
It is being reported that the winger has gone back to the recently relegated Premier League side to receive treatment on an injury.
Rajiv van La Parra got injured while training at Hurworth this week after which he decided to work on his rehabilitation back home with his parent club.
The 27-year-old winger took to Instagram and posted a picture of himself in the Huddersfield medical room last night to reveal his return.
La Parra joined Boro on loan until the end of this season but has struggled to make his mark for Boro.
Early last month, doubts regarding his future grew after Pulis left him out of Boro’s squad to face Brentford, after which the player posted a cryptic message on Instagram, which said: "Don’t try to understand everything. Sometimes it's not meant to be understood."
Understandably, his message was taken as a sign that things weren't right with the player, hence the reason why Pulis was asked to explain the situation surrounding the winger.
"It’s just the way it is. I think the way we’ve played with a five, it’s most probably not suited him - playing as a wing-back, playing that way." Pulis said.
"He’s worked hard he’s trained well, he’s done everything we’ve wanted him to but I just don’t think he’s fitted into the pattern and that’s nothing to do with him, that’s just the shape of the team. The team’s more important than any individual."
Now, La Parra has posted another message on Instagram, a compilation of some of his best performances in a Huddersfield shirt.
Therefore, based on the recent developments surrounding the player, his chances of playing again for Boro remain slim.
