Millwall and Bolton Share Season of Good Will
Middlesbrough can expect a bumper away following for matches over the Christmas period as both Millwall and Bolton Wanderers slashed ticket prices for all supporters.
Boro travel to the Den on Sat 21 December in search of three points against a side who surprised fans who bet on football by <a href="http://www.bet365.com/news/en/betting/football target="blank"">beating us twice last season. The match, scheduled for a 17:30 kick-off and broadcast on Sky Sports, will see tickets reduced to just £5 in both sections of the support.
And, on New Year’s Day, Bolton will cut prices to £15 for adults and £5 for children at the Reebok Stadium.
These two Christmas presents should be well received by fans, many of who will have to travel long distances following their side this month. Indeed, a 750-mile round trip to both away grounds will cost a packet in petrol, which is why cutting ticket prices is so welcome this time of year.
In fact, the move is part of a general feeling of goodwill in the club that suggests we are moving forward in the right direction. Aitor Karanka’s arrival has given a new life to the club and, although we’ve earned just four points from four games with the Spaniard in charge, and continue to flirt with relegation in the football betting odds, a positive change has certainly washed over the Riverside.

Unfortunately, our away form this campaign has not been overly impressive (W1 D3 L6), which is why reduced ticket prices are so important. Let’s get a bumper crowd down to Millwall and then again in Bolton and support what is likely to be the foundations of a new era for this club.
