Reports suggest that Aston Villa have agreed a £7 million deal for Tuncay Sanli.
Tottenham, Stuttgart and Cologne are also interested in the Boro striker.
The initial fee for Tuncay will be £5 million, increasing with another £2 million based on appearances.
Gareth Southgate has previously stated that Tuncay will not be leaving Middlesbrough FC until the right bid comes in.
