Wheater Called Up To England Squad

David Wheater has flown out to Minsk ahead of Wednesday's World Cup qualifier with Belarus.

Wheater flew out late on Tuesday night after helping the England Under-21 side reach next summer's European Championship finals in Sweden at the expense of Wales.

Wheater comes in as cover at centreback, as England are without injured captain John Terry and England U21 goal keeper Joe Hart has been called up following the withdrawl of West Ham goalkeeper Robert Green.
