Wigan Set To Sign Watson
Boro target Ben Watson is on the verge of joining Wigan FC.
Boro were the first team to have a bid accepted by Crystal Palace but Wigan came in with an equal bid of £2 million.
It is understood that Watson is looking for over £20,000-a-week, a fee that Boro are not happy to pay.
Watson seems almost certain to join Wigan with an announcement to be made soon.
