Will 2,958
Good example of a topic that deserves its own thread come to think of it. Well deserved Gibbo!
Maccarone 265
Cracking news, adds to his values also.
ManBearPig 1,853
Is he likely to start? I'd love for him to have the chance to show how good he's been for us on the national stage.
Boro 86 517
Much as I am chuffed for the lad I would have preferred he stayed at home with the rest of the squad to prepare for Swansea. Selfish I know but our need is greater at the moment.

Selfish I know but our need is greater at the moment. If he doesn't get a minute on the pitch, then I agree. If he gets on I can help but be really happy for the lad. Middlesborough 12
If Southgate sticks with a back 3 then Gibson is pretty much nailed on to start. Phil Jones injured, Smalling injured, Cahill suspended.
Guest Changing Times
Me too Boro 86 but good luck to him.
Denzel Zanzibar 6,972
He'll start, no doubt about that. Really happy for the lad, he deserves it. Plenty of time after for him to prepare for the Swansea game too.
Red Rocket 244
Brilliant news and wholeheartedly deserved. His performances have gone from strength to strength.
Humpty 3,261
He'll start, no doubt about that. Really happy for the lad, he deserves it. Plenty of time after for him to prepare for the Swansea game too. What makes you so certain? If England go with 4 at the back then you'd really expect Stones and Keane to start. Yes I think we will probably revert back to a back 4 tomorrow. Bar an injury I think Gibson will not play tomorrow. Really happy to see him get his call up he's been outstanding in a disappointing season.

It's only Lithuania surely we'd have a back three and attack the crap out of them?
smogsterking the Inspirati 2,490
Im not saying I would I am saying I think we will. Mainly due to the fact we would not have another centre back if one were to get injured. Gibson bar that Palace game, I can't think of a time he has played in a 3 at the back system. I also think could play another player up front tomorrow possibly Defoe.
